A tasting-menu restaurant focused on seasonal ingredients and a refined, intimate dining experience.

Modern Mexican cuisine with a polished atmosphere and thoughtfully crafted cocktails.
Must-try: Ceviches, cocktails
Note: Generous portions and excellent seafood. Reservations recommended, though it can work for a last-minute date night, open late.

Elevated American fare in a well-designed, quieter setting.

A chef-driven neighborhood restaurant serving approachable American dishes in a lively evening setting.
Note: Often works well for late, last-minute date nights; walk-ins are usually possible. Good wine list.

A newer coastal inspired Port Jefferson spot offering tacos and creative drinks with a strong bar-forward vibe.
Note: Very limited table seating; bar seating is typically the best option. Can work well for last-minute date night.

Hidden in Port Jeff Baker’s alley, an artisan bakery producing Paris-level croissants and pastries by a master baker.
Must-try: Spicy tomato tart, bi-color croissants.
Note: Extremely limited hours—Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 10am–2pm; small-batch baking means quantities are limited.
